Welcome Back to Spring of 2018!
I don't know if you thought it might never arrive, but it is finally ice out! The Loons are back calling at night and all is right with the world . . . unless you need to drive down our road. That's in rough shape.
So the most IMPORTANT upcoming event is our Lake Association Annual Meeting on May 26 at Clearwater Forest Camp at 9am. Once again we are doing a breakfast meet and great followed by the meeting. Come a little early to eat and socialize. We want to start the meeting at 9:00am, so we can all get back on the lake for the weekend!
We know its a holiday weekend and that's why we try to keep it focused. It's also a great weekend to have our meeting because most people are back at the lake and have some time to spare with the long weekend.
Our topics this year will include an update on the Lake shore Restoration Mini-Grant project that will be happening this summer, as well as how our beautiful lake is doing. This Includes a report on our water level struggles and our invasive species.
See the 2018 newsletter for more details.
Other Lake Events
Lets see, on the lake this summer we will have a Fishing Contest (June 30), a Boat Parade (July 1) as well as several Lake shore Restoration training sessions (June 2). And that's just us. Look around. There is fun to be had everywhere. Let me know if you have a special event you want to share with the whole lake.
Ruttger's Fireworks are on July 6th this year.
