Our lake association members are very diversified.  That diversity results in interests in every direction.  Sometimes the best way to get to know a person is to ask them what they are passionate about.  You might just be surprised how much you have in common with your neighbors.  Their passion might be the same as yours or it just might be your FUTURE passion. 

If you want to share your passion with your neighbors, use the Contact Us to let us know.  We'll take your article as is or work with you to write something up.   Go a head, brag about what you love!

Wild and Free

I have been involved with Wild and Free for since 2012.  It is an 501(c)(3) organization based out of Garrison that rehabilitates wild animals with the primary goal of releasing them back into the wild.
Every week I volunteer to feed animals and keep the cages clean.  I have feed bears, swans, loons, eagles, owls, hawks and a dozen other species of wild animals.  I have even feed a grizzly bear and a peregrine falcon!
The reward of seeing the animals released back into the wild is so thrilling, I total forget how much "fun" cleaning up after the animals is!   Yes, the old saying does a bear sh… in the woods is true. VERY TRUE!
